Logo

The Arcasiles symbol and the backgrounds each fill can be seen on, measured one by one.

The logo has three fills: dark, white and soft. The table below crosses them with the five brand backgrounds and marks the pairings you can use. On amber #f9be4a use the dark fill, never the white one. Below that: the safety margin, the minimum size and what is never done.

Where each fill works

paper #faf9f7

dark 14.20:1 · AAA

black #272727

white 14.94:1 · AAA
soft 11.53:1 · AAA

gray #e9e9e9

dark 12.30:1 · AAA

amber #f9be4a

dark 8.89:1 · AAA

lila #674a98

white 6.98:1 · AA
soft 5.39:1 · AA

On Paper, gray or amber use the dark fill. On black or lila you get two options: white or soft.

Safety margin

  • The clear margin around the logo is as wide as the symbol is tall.
  • Nothing goes inside it —no text, no photo, no border—: if it does not fit, shrink the logo before the margin.
  • Over photography it sits inside a flat color block, because contrast against an image cannot be measured.

Never

  • The logo is never redrawn with text: download the SVG and place it as it is.
  • There are three fills. If your background is not in the table above, measure the contrast before inventing a fourth.
  • Stretching or rotating the symbol breaks it: set the width and let the height follow.
  • No shadows and no borders; if the logo gets lost against the background, change the variant before adding an effect.
  • Minimum 220 pt on covers, 120 pt in web headers.
